What do we have to know before providing you a quote?

There are at least three parameters you have to know:

Mains supply;

UV lamp's power;

UV lamp's voltage 

If possible, we'd love to know lamp type, mercury or mental etc.

How long it will take for EPS to finish the igniting process?

EPS will output an extremely high voltage in a split second to ignite the UV lamp, and the voltage drops to a certain voltage 100-200V or even lower in seconds (it’s up to lamp type and EPS model). Then the current of EPS will reach MAX and voltage will increase till reach the full power of lamp and enter running mode. 

Why do you need to wait for lamps to cool before restarting?

We suggest users to wait about 5-10 minutes before restart the lamp. When a lamp is turned off, charge carriers are lost when ions and electrons recombine.  However, when the lamp is still hot, atoms in the lamp are moving around quickly and this leads to high impedance of the electrons when trying to restart the lamp.

How can we support you if you have questions during production?

Our remote technical support will be available in 12H. Please take a video of the lcd display on G3600/G3000/G5200, or keyboard of G5800B/G6000/GL2000 to show us the current and voltage change before alarming. This will be helpful for us to find out the true problem.

Why should you clean your EPS?

Each of our EPS has an independent air-cooling tunnel to make sure excellent heat dissipation performance. If the air-cooling tunnel has been blocked, the temperature inside will be very high and life time of components will be shortened or even damage the electronic power supply. 

How to turn ON/OFF the UV lamp?

Turn ON UV lamp:

Press [START] button to turn on UV lamp. Electronic power supplies need about 1-2mins to drive your UV arc lamp to full power after you turn ON our EPS.

Turn OFF UV lamp:

Press [STOP] button to turn off the UV lamp. The machine will have 3 minutes cooling time. You can extend the cooling time by reset P2.12. 

Important:Do not shut the machine off with the main power switch or the Emergency switch while the UV lamp is ON or cooling. Or the machine will not adequately cool the UV lamp, and the life time of UV lamp will be shortened.

You cannot turn ON the lamp again until the cooling time is completely finished.

What is the optimum operating temperature for electronic power supply?

Environmental temperature no higher than 45 °C
